We've made it...23 hours of driving (for Lance) and a short 3 hour plane ride (for Gracie and me) was all it took to start a new life. We are not in
1. IT'S GREEN!
2. I can take a walk whenever I feel like it and not die of heat stroke (I think it was in the low 80's today)
3. We live alone (not that we didn't love taking care of HUGE houses! But this place it all ours!)
4. No one knows who we are. I love starting fresh and meeting new friends!
5. No sales tax! When they say $0.99 they mean it.
6. It's illegal to pump your own gas!
7. Walking around the fence in our back yard and picking wild blackberries!
8. WATER! We live in a gorge and we had to cross a river to get to WA...we also went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and had a great view of the river and people boating.
We've waited a long time for this day to finally be here. Hello to the future. I already know I'm going to love it here!

Good Luck on your new adventure. It is so pretty there and Ryan and I always say how nice it would be to live there where it is so green. But I am a chicken and dont think I could ever leave good ol AZ. YOu will have to post pics of your new place! -Shiloh

Oh wow, that sounds like heaven! I hope you enjoy it up there Em. My sister has lived in Washington and Oregon and LOVES it up there!
Sounds like so much fun! it's a good thing to leave AZ for a while, I think, a fun adventure! I'd love to visit the northwest sometime. What's Lance in school for??

Well we miss you guys! Sure is different without you around... espcially at work! Jake is doing great though. He hasn't needed my help once and seems to be catching on quickly. Let us know how everything is and take lots and lots of pictures!! I love those kinds of pictures... oh guess what? Jaxon is saying Dad and he is crawling. Crazy huh?! Stuart thinks he's the coolest thing ever now! :) Hope to hear from you all the time!!
