Who knew she loved corn on the cob so much?! She DEVOURS it!
Celynda and Lukas came to visit and we took a trip to the children's museum. They LOVED the water!
Gracie is ready for our morning jog. I have to tell you, this is a gorgeous path around a golf course. Although, as much as I like it we've got stuck 1/2 around once when it started pouring on us. Where was our umbrella you might ask? Where it belongs, of course, in the car.
This is the gorgeous path.
We often get chased by squirrels who apparently thinks we have food.
Ok, so blogging has really not been on my priority list since we've moved. So the next few blogs are going to be a catch up of the last 7 weeks!
Gracie is growing like a weed! She is so funny and is talking! Ok, not full sentences but she really says words! It's fascinating! A few that I can think of off the top of my head are:
ahhh-duh= all done
jes= yes
wassss dat= what's that
cheee --ih= cheez-it
eee-eee (with a closed mouth)= binky
mama
dada
(I know there are more!)
What's more amazing is that she understands more that I know. She follows simple directions in English, Spanish, and ASL.
She signs:
eat, more, mom, dad, light, fan, cold, hot, stinky!, touch down, all done, shoes, oh no, please, (ahhh I can't think of them all!)
I love being a parent!

She is so big! It looks like you guys are adjusting well...I love the pictures!
I am sooo glad that you are teaching her ASL signs. Dane learned some from watching baby Einsteins and I love it. I swore I would teach my kids but just never did. Maybe I'll start now. HOW GORGEOUS is that path you jog on! WOW...super jealous about that one.
I hate squirrels! And there are so many tree-huggers living in the Northwestern Pacific area that prevent them from being kept under control...our city actually killed 2 last year after they bit TWO toddlers who were holding cheerios.
Amy,
I'm with you on the squirrels! I'm kind of freaked out about them!!! and you just made it worse!! I'll have to make sure we don't take any snacks with us. We were looking at one through a chain link fence and out of no where it jumped onto the fence at our eye level and I almosed messed my pants! ha ha ha
I remember the first time I found out about your Starbucks obsession...we were in the Sky Harb Airport on our way to our cruise!!! She is soooo big and smart!
Emali...I can't believe you are in Oregon. It sounds like you are adjusting well to life there. Your little girl is so adorable. I couldn't stop laughing at the Starbuck's picture. I saw Jared at our church building on Sunday. I can't believe he has 3 boys. Hope all continues to go well for you guys!!
