The girls got to wear their costumes to preschool. More to come after tomorrow, but I promised my mom I would post a pic of G's costume. Lance says I found a hidden talent. I sewed, yes, that is right. I, Emali Mollenhauer did sew an entire Halloween costume, and get this, WITHOUT a pattern! I followed a blog tutorial that showed me how to outline a swimsuit and make a pattern...kinda hard, but not at the same time. It took days to do, but I am pretty proud of my work. Now I'm just wondering, am I going to have to do this EVERY year now?

Wow, good job on the costume! I made Michael's without a pattern, too, and I was pretty impressed with myself. Gives you a bit more confidence with sewing, doesn't it?
Dangit! We were at Disney on Ice the same night! I was wondering after I saw Heathers post! Sorry I couldn't get together with you girls, I had good intentions of calling and setting something up-but you know how it is when you get with your family and they want to do all sorts of stuff (and they're paying) it's hard to get away! :)

wow! With hidden mad skillz like that, I think it is very evident you were destined to be a girls' mom! Still in shock you did that without a pattern, I would have NO idea how to do that!
