Starting over again

We've made it...23 hours of driving (for Lance) and a short 3 hour plane ride (for Gracie and me) was all it took to start a new life. We are not in Arizona anymore! I've already noticed many benefits to living in the Northwest:

1. IT'S GREEN!
2. I can take a walk whenever I feel like it and not die of heat stroke (I think it was in the low 80's today)
3. We live alone (not that we didn't love taking care of HUGE houses! But this place it all ours!)
4. No one knows who we are. I love starting fresh and meeting new friends!
5. No sales tax! When they say $0.99 they mean it.
6. It's illegal to pump your own gas!
7. Walking around the fence in our back yard and picking wild blackberries!
8. WATER! We live in a gorge and we had to cross a river to get to WA...we also went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and had a great view of the river and people boating.

We've waited a long time for this day to finally be here. Hello to the future. I already know I'm going to love it here!

Belle of the Ball or Pool

Happy Birthday Belle!

(She's there in the purple...sorry I don't have a better one of the birthday girl!)

The anticipation...

...and if you look real hard you can see the hilarious reaction to the slide.

Shelley, I think the slide was a hit! Thanks for the fun!

Wilson Hang

Thanks to the Wilsons for hosting dice nite! We're going to miss all of our good friends in AZ! Stu, Jaxon, and Shana

Oh, Seth!

Most of the gang...just playing

Gracie's best bud, Lukas

FHE Moll Style

As it was getting a little (and mabye that's an exaggeration!) cooler in the evenings, we decided to take a walk and have fun at the park for FHE a few weeks ago.
No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't climb all the way back up the slide!

This was the first time I had taken Gracie down the slides and I LOVED her reaction

EVERY TIME!

These are just some cool shots walking around in the neighborhood...I wish I had a nicer camera (hint, hint!)

So Long...

Goodbye and Goodbuy...

Hello to the one car family...

We would like to pay our respects to the green Honda our"Reliable Kermit". Not the flashiest car, but there when we needed it. We will miss you!

Learning Shmerning

Thanks Tiff for helping me learn how to fix my stupid blog site! I was seriously irritated with potobucket/shabbytulips. Stick around a while while I fix the font colors and add our recent updates!

I can't believe my baby is 1!

I LOVE this picture! Even as a newborn Gracie was full of personality.

I know her birthday was last Friday but I was reminiscing a little bit and thought everyone else would enjoy these. I marvel at how much has changed in a year, for both of us. I sure love having a photographer in the family!! These were taken by my sis-in-law, Kathy Crouse.

Look how small she was (as a big baby)!

and her tiny toes!...

I love this face. It's the typical newborn "I-have-so-much-to-tell-you-face"

and now we have this... (more to come as the pics are edited)
What a blessing Heavenly Father has sent us!

Happy Birthday Gracie!

Happy 1st Birthday Gracie!
Deciding what exactly to do with this cake...

Daddy was being funny by smashing her face it, but she thought it was great!

Thanks to all the family and friends that were able to join us! We sure had a great time, and are going to miss all of you!
