Hiatus

So I haven't been the best blogger...
we've been up to this:

PLAYING!!
...in this most excellent Portland weather.

I WILL post about our latest AZ and Caribbean Adventures, and do some major catch-up, once the rains descend again on us here in the Northwest.

So we went to the doctor...

right before we left. I just about had a heart attack because they said that I had missed my ultrasound appointment, I had written the time down wrong. Lucky for me, Lance had a long break and he was able to stay with me until the next opening. I know you are all hanging by a thread here...

it was VERY obvious....the tech said without a doubt...

We are thrilled. By the way I am in AZ while Lance is studying/taking National Boards and Finals. 19 tests in one week, that folks is why I retreat to AZ. Hopefully I'll post some updates we have had lots of fun happenings here!!

We have a walker

She walks! She officially took her first step on Superbowl Sunday (Feb 1) at exactly 8 months and 2 weeks. She beat Gracie by 1 week! She is dying to catch up to her older sister. Now at 9 months old she still has a teeny little body and takes a few steps at a time before the quick crawl to catch up to G.

**8 more days to vote before we find out what we are having!! (hopefully!!)

Off to the Coast!

We took advantage of President's Day weekend and took an overnight trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast. We had such a great time! We stayed at an AWESOME hotel 2 blocks from the beach (thanks to A.V.), and met up with the Egberts for a night of fun.

Late for church

Why would you grab a camera when you are late for choir practice??
After church the traditional strip to eat...but G filled in while Lance and I were busy getting lunch together! LOVE IT!

Need a makeover?

Gracie is now available.

Duh, Nuh, Nuh, Nuh, Nuh

They say it's your birthday...

I know it's a month late now, but I didn't miss out on the big day. We celebrated Lance's birthday in style complete with a dinner of choice:

home-cooked crab

biscuits from Red Lobster

and of course strawberry shortcake for dessert (pictured above)

Really, I have the greatest husband. I don't know how he does it all. He manages to pass his classes, and most of the time get pretty good grades, AND serves in TWO church callings, AND spends quality time with his daughters, AND still has time to take out the trash/recycle, empty the dishwasher and lately has vacuumed for me! Thanks babe for picking up all of the slack when I was too sick to do it myself! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE! I LOVE YOU!
