May

They love each other so much they go to time out together!

Lance caught the girls strolling Kams around the house in the doll stroller.  Good thing she is so petite!

Lance tried to line them up on the wall to see who is taller.  Syd is 2 pounds lighter and less than an inch shorter!!

this is called the ugly cry

Syd moved into her toddler bed and LOVES to be a big girl.  She loves her nighttime routine of songs an snuggles (see her snuggling the baby above).  So far she does pretty good at night going down (she has been our easiest child to put to bed thus far) but now she wakes up at 5:00AM, and going down for naps are a bit harder.

Umbrellas

My Grace loves umbrellas.  She begs for us to let her take them out and use them.  As soon as it started raining she was searching for an umbrella to play with.

It reminds me of this little photo from back in Oregon:

I am trying to treasure these little moments Grace and I have together before she grows up and leaves for Kindergarten.  I'm sure it will be a matter of days before it's too cool to play so much with mom.  I sure love her!

Baking Buddies

Remember when Lance and I first got married and lived in Val Vista Lakes for a while?  Remember the GORGEOUS house we lived in (on the lake), while a couple (the Plowmans) in our ward were on a mission?  Those were good times.  I knew I would get along with Kathy the minute I met her.  I happened to hear her mention that she would soon be leaving on her mission, and I just so happened to ask what was happening with her house (pretty smart of me, right?).  We were so blessed to first of all get to know the Plowmans better, and second to have the chance to live in their house.  I have learned so much from Kathy, over the years I have known her (it was over 6 years ago).

I also have a good friend Macey, who I knew in high school but really got to know in the college years.  We did after all go to NAU together and had boyfriends at BYU (that was a crazy trip in the snow to visit, right Mace?)  Anyways, Macey was somehow able to snatch up Kathy's bread making class at a service auction, and guess who they invited to come along?  ME!  WAHOO!  Two people I enjoy spending time with.  I was grinning all day after I left those ladies, I had the best time.  We chatted like old girlfriends and kept having to remember we were there to make rolls!  Thanks Ladies for a great day!
