RS Health and Wellness Expo

For the first time in 10 years I have been able to have a calling OTHER than a music calling (RS Meeting Coordinator)!  I am LOVING it (when I am not stressed)!  The RS presidency decided they wanted a Health and Wellness Expo (complete with dinner and a guest speaker).

Tellef Celebration

This is my jr high choir teacher, Mrs. Kathryn Tellef.
She and I go way back, to Taylor Jr. High of course!  We had lunch dates at Taco Bell for those who got 100% in class. (that was me, are you really surprised?)  She introduced us to choreography or really choirography.  I knew she had a dream job and I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.  I think it surprised us both when I was hired as the choir teacher at a nearby Jr High!  She was an incredible teacher and mentor!  Love you Kathryn!!

These are some of my oldest and dearest friends!  they were so sweet to come and support Mrs. Tellef (and me!).  Love you girls!

*Special thanks to Peg and gang who put the whole shindig together.  It was absolutely fab!  I only wish I was thrown a party as grand as that one!

Mother's Day 2011

These beauties were delivered to me the day before Mother's Day as a sweet remembrance of where our family has been.  I miss my tulips and daffodils growing in my garden!  I feel so grateful right now to be where we are.  We are so well taken care of (by our Heavenly Father as well as family and friends).  We have been greatly blessed!

I love my little family.  My little girlies make me laugh and smile as well as remind me not to be too serious.  I am grateful to be blessed with children, if it weren't for modern medicine I would be without them.    I feel it a great responsibility that I was entrusted with the raising of these great spirits.  They bring such great joy into my life!

Thank you to my sweetheart for making Mother's Day the BEST DAY EVER!  I was pampered and cared for all day and didn't have to lift a finger all day, REALLY! (it was awesome)

Too tired

Syd refused to lay down one morning after we had been out running errands.  She just couldn't let her sisters play without her.  It was so cute to find her behind the couch.

Kams new love is playing the computer.  She loves Starfall.com and still has trouble with the mac mouse but is quickly catching on.

she is such a cute little mommy!

We have had so many park days since moving home.  We LOVE our new friends!

How many kids can you fit on a park toy?

The girls are growing so fast.  We are quickly approaching Kami's birthday and then Grace and Syd's birthday is just around the corner.  AHHHH, it's going too fast.

May

They love each other so much they go to time out together!

Lance caught the girls strolling Kams around the house in the doll stroller.  Good thing she is so petite!

Lance tried to line them up on the wall to see who is taller.  Syd is 2 pounds lighter and less than an inch shorter!!

this is called the ugly cry

Syd moved into her toddler bed and LOVES to be a big girl.  She loves her nighttime routine of songs an snuggles (see her snuggling the baby above).  So far she does pretty good at night going down (she has been our easiest child to put to bed thus far) but now she wakes up at 5:00AM, and going down for naps are a bit harder.
