Summer Fun

These are some fun pictures of Gracie getting ready to swim. She was scared of the water at first, but slowly gets accustomed to it and has fun in the water, splashing Dad and playing with a ball. We love swimming and, of course, it is fun to look cute too!

A REAL STINKER

Yesterday was a pretty funny day. I was trying to get a little work done on the summer voice program I am starting soon and Grace did NOT want to play by herself. Among other funny things she sneaks up behind me, at the computer, and I finally turn around to play with her and she's tring to hand me her DIRTY diaper! I don't know how she got it off... Then, not 10 minutes later I turn around and she is pulling all of the wipes out of it's container--and was trying to eat them! We have a pile of at least 30 wipes, thanks Gracie for stocking up your diaper bag. WE LOVE YOU!

WE HAVE A WALKER

Oh my! Yesterday was Gracie's 9 mo. birthday and she has successfully learned to walk (at least now we have proof)! We knew it was coming...she's walked TONS of times when no one is looking and when we notice she sits/falls and laughs. I think it helped having her cousin Tyrus in town last week. She was watching very carefully as he was cruising past her. We are proud!

We had the chance to spend time in Tucson with one of Em's Favorite Roomate's for a lazy afternoon of Bon-Bons and cucumber sandwiches...or just talking. No, Gracie is not normally orange-colored, only when dad helps feed her!

OOOPPSS!

Gracie's first fat lip...she took a face plant into Bella's tile. Poor thing, she cried for quite a while but I think she was happy getting an otterpop to chew to bring down the swelling.

Prom

Brittany got asked to prom and Gracie was helping her find his name...Ok, really what happened was Britt was at work and we snuck into her room to play with the balloons. Thanks Britt, we love you!

Family Campout at Renyold's Creek

We did it! We survived a our first family ward campout this weekend. It only took us 4 1/2 hours to go 52 miles past Miami, AZ! We were very grumpy and tired before we got to the campsite. Members of the ward were VERY worried about us. It was a very chilly night and very cramped in our Escape. At least Gracie slept well! On Saturday we (the ward) walked to the creek, had a treasure hunt (organized by Lance) and Easter Egg hunt, and played until we were pooped. And it only took us just over 2 hours to get home! YEAH!

Holidays are very fun (and busy) for us. After church we ran to the Mollenhauer's for a quick bite and a picture before heading to Harmony park for the traditional Anderson family Easter Egg Hunt, and then went to the Crouse's for the traditional Sunday dinner with another hunt. Gracie had a ball playing with the finding Easter eggs and finding them.
